Dear Ms Campbell,

Thank you for your FOI request that was received on 4 January. I am sorry that I could not provide answers to your 5 questions earlier but I am now in a position to do so.

1) How many allotment sites are there in East Devon for which East Devon District Council has access to waiting list data? 3, all in Sidmouth.

2) What is the total number of plots on these sites?

Lawn Vista - 18.
Lymebourne - 19.
Peaslands - 29.

3) What is the total number of people on waiting lists for these sites?

Lawn Vista - 90.
Lymebourne - 85.
Peaslands - 86.

Most people add their names to all 3 lists.

4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications? No.

5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in 2009? None.

Please give:
a) number of new sites? N/A.
b) names of new sites? N/A.
c) total area of new land in hectares? N/A.
d) total number of new plots? N/A.
