Allotment waiting lists

Good Afternoon

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request of 8 February 2010.

You have told me that you have previously sent an e-mail on 1 January
2010 requesting this information but have yet to receive a response. I
have checked our email accounts and I am sorry to tell you that I cannot
find any record of your original request being received. In light of
this, I will try and respond to this request as soon as possible but by
4 March 2010 at the latest.

Our policy is to carry out the spirit and requirements of the Freedom
of Information Act in a manner which:
- recognizes the duty to inform as the essential principle underlying
the legislation;
- discloses to requesters the maximum information possible which is not
injurious to the public and private interests identified in the
exemptions in the Act and does so in the most timely and consistent
manner given the nature and scope of the request;
- ensures that fees permitted under the Act are kept to an absolute
minimum whilst safeguarding our position as a non-profit making
repayment department.

5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in
2009? Please give:
