As of January 2010, please could you tell me:
1) How many allotment sites are there in Bolton for which Bolton
Borough Council has access to waiting list data?
2) What is the total number of plots on these sites?
3) What is the total number of people on waiting lists for these
sites?
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in
2009? Please give:
a) number of new sites
b) names of new sites
c) total area of new land in hectares
d) total number of new plots

Please see the responces to the information request as listed below;
1) How many allotment sites are there in Bolton for which Bolton
Borough Council has access to waiting list data?
1. Response,
There are 37 sites managed by Environmental Services for which we hold
waiting list information. We do not have access or information for any
privately owned sites in the Borough.
2) What is the total number of plots on these sites?
2. Response,
There is a total combined number of plots of 1018
3) What is the total number of people on waiting lists for these
sites?
3. Response,
There is a total of 430 persons on waiting lists throughout the Borough
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
4. Response,
All waiting lists are open to applicants.
5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in
2009? Please give:
a) number of new sites
b) names of new sites
c) total area of new land in hectares
d) total number of new plots
5. Response,
No new sites were created during 2009.
