Dear Bolsover District Council,
As of January 2010, please could you tell me:
1) How many allotment sites are there in Bolsover for which
Bolsover District Council has access to waiting list data?
2) What is the total number of plots on these sites?
3) What is the total number of people on waiting lists for these
sites?
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in
2009? Please give:
a) number of new sites
b) names of new sites
c) total area of new land in hectares
d) total number of new plots

Thank you for your message. The offices are now closed until Monday 4th
January 2010.
Over the Christmas period waste and recycling collections will be as
follows:
If your normal collection day should be Tuesday 22nd December your
Christmas collection day will be Monday 21st December
If your normal collection day should be Wednesday 23rd December your
Christmas collection day will be Tuesday 22nd December
If your normal collection day should be Thursday 24th December your
Christmas collection day will be Wednesday 23rd December
If your normal collection day should be Friday 25th December your
Christmas collection day will be Thursday 24th December
If your normal collection day should be Tuesday 29th December your
collection will remain unchanged
If your normal collection day should be Wednesday 30th December your
collection will remain unchanged
If your normal collection day should be Thursday 31st December your
collection will remain unchanged
If you normal collection day should be Friday 1st January your Christmas
collection will be Saturday 2nd January
Please ensure your bin or box is presented on the correct amended day by
6:00am during the Christmas period.
No side waste will be collected.
Normal collections will resume from Tuesday 5th January 2009

excess Christmas waste.'
Collections between Christmas and New Years Day remain unchanged

BDC currently own and manage 8 allotment sites throughout the district.
The sites vary widely in terms of size usage and condition.
Bolsover District Council does not have access to any records held by
the Parish Councils in relation to their allotment holdings.
None of the current waiting lists are closed to new applications
No new allotment sites have been brought into use in 2009.
