the council has access to waiting list data?
2) How many plots are on these sites?

8 January 2009
Dear Margaret,
Thank you for your enquiry regarding allotment sites in Woking Borough.
We have nine sites within the Borough which are individually managed by
eight different allotment societies. We have regular meetings during the
year where they supply us with the details of their waiting lists etc.
The last meeting was on 26th November 2008 so the figures below were
accurate on that date.
1) There are nine sites within the Borough.
2) In total there are 769 plots between the 9 sites (the number per site
varies from 33 to 109)
3) There were no available plots and in total there were 153 people on the
9 waiting lists (the number per site varies from 2 to 43). We would
expect some duplication within this as some residents will put themselves
on the list for more than one site.
4) None of the waiting lists were closed.
5) There are nine sites within the Borough.
I hope this answers your query and if we can be of any more help please
let us know. I will be on maternity leave from tomorrow so after that
please contact Geoff Ward on [1][email address] if you require
any further information on allotments.
Kind regards,
Danielle
