1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?

2) How many plots are on these sites?

3) How many people are on these waiting lists for an allotment?

4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?

5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

I write in response to your Freedom of Information Act request that you forwarded on 21 December 2008. The answers to your questions are as follows.

1. There are 13 allotment sites where Tunbridge Wells Borough Council has access to waiting list data.

2. There is approximately 500 plots on these sites, although this number is constantly changing.

3. A total of 284 names are currently on all the lists, although the actual number of people waiting is lower, because some people have their name on more than one list.

4. Currently the waiting lists are not closed for further applications.

5. There are 14 allotment sites in the Council area.
