Dear Margaret
Your request for information on allotments.
We have now considered your request for information and a copy of the information is below.
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which the council has access to waiting list data?

Some plots are used as wildlife areas or communal storage space. Some plots are 'split' to provide two smaller plots and some plots cannot be let due to flooding or poor growing conditions (i.e. in the shade of trees or property).
3) How many people are on these waiting lists for an allotment?
Approximately 300.
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
No.

76, excluding privately owned land.
