Request for information LBBD:34550
Your request for information about allotments has now been considered and
the information is below;
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which the
council has access to waiting list data?
There are 13 allotment sites open. We do not have immediate access waiting
lists i.e. names and addresses these are kept by the individual societies.
2) In total, how many plots are on these sites?
On an Audit carried out in 2006 there were 518 plots.
3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an allotment?
There are currently 186 on the waiting lists from information supplied by
societies.
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
No.
5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?
There are 13 sites open at the moment with plans to reopen some sites that
in the past have been closed for various reasons.
