As of January 2009, please could you tell me:
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?
2) In total, how many plots are on these sites ?
3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

Thank you for your request for information. West Sussex County Council is
not responsible for the management and allocation of the county's
allotments and therefore does not hold the information you have requested.
The management and allocation of the county's allotments is administered
by a variety of bodies at both district and parish council levels. I
suggest that in the first instance you check the information available on
the websites of the county's 7 district and borough councils. Below you
will find a link to the county council's website which in turn shows links
to the district and borough councils' websites
