As of January 2009, please could you tell me:
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?
2) In total, how many plots are on these sites ?
3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

Dear Ms Campbell
Reference:ACR/FOI/00909
Further to my e-mail of 10 February 2009, I am now in position to address
the issue raised in your communication dated 30 January 2009.
The response received from Tendring District Council's (TDC) Leisure
Services is as follows. The allotment sites that are located on TDC land
are managed by either Allotment Associations or charitable trusts. Others
within the district may be owned or maintained by local Parish and Town
Councils. Accordingly, in this instance, we do not have the requested
details to disclose.
In closing, I am sorry I have been unable to assist you more on this
occasion although, if you should have any further questions in relation to
this enquiry, please do not hesitate to contact me.
