Dear Sir or Madam,
As of January 2009, please could you tell me:
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?
2) In total, how many plots are on these sites ?
3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

Dear Margaret Campbell
In response to your enquiry of 30th January, answers to your questions are
as follows:
1. South Cambridgeshire District Council owns and manages 12 allotment
sites within the District, some of which have waiting lists held by this
Authority.
2. In total, there are 37 plots.
3. In total, there are 6 people on waiting lists.
4. All waiting lists are open.
5. I cannot answer this question. Many of the Parish Councils in the
District own and manage allotment sites in their villages, for which this
Council holds no information. A list of the Parish Councils is obtainable
from our website [1]www.scambs.gov.uk.
