allotments, which we received on 19 December 2008.

no later than 21 January 2009.

Freedom of Information request - Ref 1201
I am writing further to your request for information about the waiting
list for allotments, which we received on 19 December 2008. Please find
our answers to your questions below.
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Borough for which the
council has access to waiting list data?
. We have access to waiting list data for 10 allotment sites.
This breaks down as 8 existing sites and 2 new sites due to open in 2009.
2) How many plots are on these sites?
. There are 174.5 plots on the 8 existing sites. We cannot supply
the number of plots on the new sites as this has not been finalised to
date.
3) How many people are on these waiting lists for an allotment?
. 269 - there are 205 people on the lists for the existing sites
plus 64 people on waiting lists for the new sites.
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
. No, none of the waiting lists are closed.
5) How many sites are there in total in the Borough?
. There are 19 sites (6 Parish Council managed, 5 Association
managed, 8 managed by SMBC) plus 2 new sites to open in 2009.
