As of January 2009, please could you tell me:
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?
2) In total, how many plots are on these sites ?
3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

Please find attached the information you have requested under the Freedom
of Information Act 2000.
1. How many allotment sites are there in the council area for which the
council has access to waiting list data?
NLC response: There are five allotment sites
2. In total, how many plots are on these sites?
NLC response:
Buckingham Avenue has 63 plots and 40 cubicles
Healey Road has 43 plots
Somervell Road has 33 plots
Westcliff has 93 plots
Wheatfields has 153 plots
Please note that the 63 plots on the Buckingham Avenue site are not
in a lettable condition at present.
3. In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?
NLC response: We have 131 people on our waiting list
4. Are any of these waiting lists closed for applications?
NLC response: No
5. How many sites are there in total in the council area?
NLC response: We do not have the total number of sites in the
council area as some are owned by Town & Parish Councils.
