Dear Mrs Johnson

REF NO: 1212.1.
I am writing to confirm that Middlesbrough Council has now completed its

In your request you asked for the following information:

Question: As of January 2009, please could you tell me:

Answer: Please find information in the attached spreadsheet
showing the status of allotments as it stood in January 09.

I must stress that waiting lists change almost on
a daily basis and demand will grow as spring arrives,
but at the same time we are endeavouring to create
new plots to cater for this demand which have yet to come on
stream.

Dear Ms Campbell

REF NO: 1212.1.
I refer to your email of 19th February 2009 requesting the following
information:

Question: 4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further
applications?

Answer: We have not closed waiting lists to new applications on any
of our allotment sites.

Question: 5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

Answer: The number of allotment sites controlled and owned by
Middlesbrough Council is as shown in my list at 6
this excludes any newly developed Community Garden areas which are not
open to the general public
of which there are a number.

Also we are looking to sub-divide Berwick Hill allotments
into 3 seperated sites thereby creating
upto 12 new allotment plots in the process.
