As of January 2009, please could you tell me:
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?
2) In total, how many plots are on these sites ?
3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

In answer to you request I would reply as follows
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?
We don't have any allotments ourselves and don't have any recorded information on whether any of the Parish Councils who do operate allotments have waiting lists
2) In total, how many plots are on these sites ?
N/A in view of answer to 1
3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?
N/A in view of answer to 1
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?

5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?
I don't have any up to date information. There was a survey carried out by the Local Plan Section (in 2000 with updates added in 2006). This was done in conjunction with Parish Councils to identify all public open space. This survey indicated that there were 47 allotment sites totalling 30.52 hectares and at the time of the original survey none of the sites were at full occupancy.
