the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000 and asking for information
relating to Allotments, as at January 2009.

You asked a number of questions:

council has access to waiting list data?

3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?

I am afraid that I cannot provide answers to your questions as Mid Devon
District Council is not responsible for allotments and we do not hold
the information requested.

By way of providing advice and assistance, I can tell you that in this
area, it is Town and Parish Councils who would administer allotments.
Can I suggest that you make your enquires to these organisations. A list
of contact names and addresses is available on the Mid Devon Website at
http://www.middevon.gov.uk/index.cfm?art....

By providing this information, I believe that I have now dealt with your
request, in so far as I am able, in accordance with the FOI Act and I
will now close this request (our reference FOI-00589).

If you are dissatisfied with the response you have received and wish to
request a review of the decision, or make a complaint about how your
request has been handled, please write to: Customer Services, Mid Devon
District Council, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon EX16 6PP
and state your reasons.

Alternatively, you may complete the online complaint/appeal form -
details of which can be found on the Council Website at
www.middevon.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=....

Please note that your request for internal review should be submitted to
us within 40 working days of receipt by you of this response. Any such
request received after this time will not be considered.

If your complaint/appeal is not resolved to your satisfaction, you have
the right to apply to the Information Commissioner for a decision. (The

Yours sincerely
