Dear Sir or Madam,

As of January 2009, please could you tell me:

1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?

2) In total, how many plots are on these sites ?

3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?

4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?

5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

Hello Margaret

We do not have a central register of Allotment sites and we do not have
access to any waiting list. It is usually Parish Council's that provide
allotment sites and presumably they will have waiting lists. CDC does
have some sites which have been previously used as allotment sites but
are now pending development these are:

Land at North Home Road, Cirencester

Land at Purley Road, Cirencester

Land at Springvale, Bourton-on-the-Water

Sites which are let on Cultivation Licences are as follows:

Land at the Hemplands

Land at Courts Close,Chedworth

Land at Hill View, Elkstone

Land at Windmill Road, Tetbury

Land at North Terrace, Coberley

Land at Windmill Road is let to Kemble Parish Council, who are
authorised to let individual allotments.

I am afraid that we are not able to provide all the information
requested but hope the details listed above will help. Please contact
