Dear Ms Campbell

I write in response to your request for information submitted on the 30th
January 2009 regarding allotments.

I can confirm the following:

1. There are two sites that the Council has information regarding waiting
lists - Market Road, Wickford and St James Road, Vange

2. There are 113 plots at these two sites - 91 at Market Road and 22 at St
James Road

3. There are in total 130 people with their details on the waiting list
for these two sites, however some names are on the waiting list for both
sites.

4. Waiting lists are not closed at either site.

5. There are six allotment sites in total in the District, two managed by
the Council and the other four are run by Allotment Associations under
devolved management.

I do hope that this answers your enquiry, if you have any further queries
please do not hesiatet to contact me.

Yours sincerely
