Please find below information in response to your questions re allotments
in Macclesfield Borough.

1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which

the council has access to waiting list data?

There are 23 MBC allotments sites in the Borough and MBC has access to the
waiting lists for all 23 sites

2) How many plots are on these sites in total?

There are 716 plots across the 23 sites

3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an

allotment?

There are aproximately 330 on the waiting lists [some are in the process
of being allocated and we recieve new names on a fairly regular basis]

4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?

No. MBC do not close MBC waiting lists. Anyone can register for any MBC
site

5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

As above, there are 23 MBC allotments sites in the Borough. There are
other private allotment sites owned and managed in a variety of ways
throughout the Borough but they are not connected to MBC and we do not
have records.
