As of December 2008, please could you tell me:
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?
2) How many plots are on these sites in total?
3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

I am writing to acknowledge your email dated 23rd December 2008
requesting information under the Freedom of information Act 2000.
Your request has been passed to Paul Merryweather, Horticultural Officer
& Barry Timms, Parks and Cemetries Manager, Department of Environment &
Regeneration for action. In accordance with the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 you should receive a response within 20 working days.
If however, we need to seek clarification from you, or it is established
that there is a charge payable due to the work involved being in excess
of the statutory limit the 20 day period will start again from when we
