the council has access to waiting list data?

2) How many plots are on these sites in total?

3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an

Dear Margaret,

Thank you for your Freedom of Information Act Request regarding allotments.

The information that you have requested can all be obtained from the Bristol City Council allotments website, www.bristol.gov.uk/allotments and is therefore already publicly available, including the no of plots and the length of waiting lists for specific sites. The lettable sites are all listed. I can confirm that there are 3 sites whose waiting lists are closed, either because of the small size (one has only 2 plots so allowing a long waiting list is pointless), or because they are unsuitable as allotments in their current condition (one has no topsoil so we allow only poultry keeping on these plots, so would only keep a specific waiting list of people wanting plots for that purpose). Those that do not have the number of plots and a waiting list shown have a waiting list managed by an allotments association or Plot Letting Site Representative, so we do not have the waiting list information.

I trust that this answers you enquiry.
