Dear Rhondda Cynon Taff Council,

Please would you acknowledge the following requests:

1. Please could you send us the Tenancy Agreement that the Council
currently uses for allotment plots in the Council?
2. Please could you send us the previous Tenancy Agreement for
allotment plots in the Council?
3. Was the agreement changed following a public consultation?
4. Please could you send us the documentation associated with this
consultation that highlights the change in Tenancy Agreement for
allotment plots in the Council?
5. Is the Council planning to change the current Tenancy Agreement
for allotment plots in the Council within the next 12 months?
6. Can you please send us the cost of an allotment within your
Council for the years: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and what they will be
for 2012 and 2013.
7. Can you please send us the cost of using water as charged to
individual plot holders within your Council for the years: 2008,
2009, 2010, 2011 and what they will be for 2012 and 2013.
8. Can you please send us the rate of the discount available for
renting an allotment plot within your Council for the years: 2008,
2009, 2010, 2011 and what they will be for 2012 and 2013.
9. What has the cost of waste removal been to the Council in
relation to allotment sites for the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
and what are they likely be for 2012 and 2013?

Dear Sirs

1. Please could you send us the Tenancy Agreement that the Council

Please find standard agreement attached.

2. Please could you send us the previous Tenancy Agreement for
allotment plots in the Council?

N/A N.B. Predecessor Authorities pre Local Government Reorganisation (1996) would have had different tenancy agreements.

3. Was the agreement changed following a public consultation?

No

4. Please could you send us the documentation associated with this
consultation that highlights the change in Tenancy Agreement for
allotment plots in the Council?

N/A
5. Is the Council planning to change the current Tenancy Agreement
for allotment plots in the Council within the next 12 months?

Not at the moment but the Authority is investigating the possibility of getting all sites self managed.

6. Can you please send us the cost of an allotment within your
Council for the years: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and what they will be
for 2012 and 2013.

The cost was £12.65 for 253m2 but no figures have been agreed for 2012/13, except for model sites which have water,roadways etc and are charged £26.00 for 253m2. Any new sites will be self managed with 1 bill going to the site secretary.

7. Can you please send us the cost of using water as charged to
individual plot holders within your Council for the years: 2008,
2009, 2010, 2011 and what they will be for 2012 and 2013

The water bills go to the plot holder and will continue to do so.

8. Can you please send us the rate of the discount available for
renting an allotment plot within your Council for the years: 2008,
2009, 2010, 2011 and what they will be for 2012 and 2013.

There are no discounts available.

9. What has the cost of waste removal been to the Council in
relation to allotment sites for the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
and what are they likely be for 2012 and 2013?

Allotment holders compost themselves so as far as can be ascertained there have been no costs.
