Dear Lorraine Burns,

Just a note to say thanks for your helpful response to my request.

Wouldn't it be nice to put the canal back in full working condition
(even enlarge it to take larger barges)and re-link Warrenpoint and
Greenore with 'all points North'? Many opportunities for activities
all along the canal as well. Centre of Newry, between the river &
canal, a traffic-free zone with 'continental style' recreation
area, restaurants, small shops etc, music-festival every year etc
etc. Dream-on Eh??
