Dear Department for Transport,
In an answer to a Parliamentary question some years ago (6th July
1981), it was stated that the Secretary of State was "responsible
for advising the British Airports Authority on those to whom the
Government consider it appropriate to accord special facilities at
Gatwick and Heathrow airports." The list included the Cabinet, the
Leader of the Opposition, the Archbishop of Canterbury and the
Chief Rabbi.
Does such a list, or equivalent guidance, currently exist? If so,
please provide an electronic copy of it.
Yours faithfully,
Steve Elibank
