Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for your request for information received on 24^th February
2010. I have set out the answers to your request below.
1. All aircraft noise complaints made to you between 2004-2010, year on
year. - The Council has received 12 complaints of aircraft noise since
2001. It is not possible to split these down on a year by year basis as
our systems have changed in this period. All complaints received have
been in connection with Panshanger aerodrome which is a local light
aircraft aerodrome. As a local authority we do not have the powers to
deal with noise from civil aircraft (inc. helicopters) and all complaints
were referred to the civil aviation authority.
2. Breakdown of the aircraft noise complaints per believed destination or
departure in London e.g. Heathrow, London City
Airport aircraft.' - No destinations believed to be London.
I hope this satisfies your request but if you have any queries or concerns
