Aircraft covering our skies with a thick layer obscuring the sun

Dear Department for Transport,
I would like to know the real answer to why aircraft trails are now
expanding and covering our whole skies. Why the sun peers slightly
through the thick terrible layer showing it to be black and full of
stuff. I have a photo of a plane ploughing a path through the stuff
leaving clear blue sky in it's wake, of other contrails leaving
shadows on the thick layer slightly above them for they are not
gasses but particles of stuff.
This is not normal. We need to know what is happening. We are being
poisoned by whatever it is. It is falling down on us and our crops.
