Air Support Unit

Dear Strathclyde Police,

I would like to know broadly what the police helicopter spends its
time doing while airborne (i.e. how much time monitoring crowds,
monitoring traffic, locating missing people, chasing suspects of
violent and serious crimes, etc.) and the approximate cost per
flying hour (preferably excluding fixed costs).

I should therefore be grateful if you would provide me with a
breakdown of its activities and costs for the last three months, or
similar indicative data if available more conveniently.
