I am gathering employment and local demographic data in relation to
the local health & social care market place. It is with this mind
that I hope you can supply the required information for the
following job Category:
Allied Health Care Professionals
– Please break this down into the following catergories:
Dietitians
Occupational Therapists
Operating Department Practitioners
Pharmacists
Physiotherapists
Radiographers
Sonographers
If possible could this information please be presented for the year
Jan 2010 - Dec 2010, showing both the annual total and monthly
breakdown.

We do not provide paediatric services, and we are unable to provide a full
breakdown in the detail you have requested within the appropriate time
limits.* We have therefore provided as full a response as has been
possible.

During 2010, we used agency nurses for 1172 shifts, approximately 75% were
NA and 25% RGNs. These temporary staff are utilises as required. They are
often requested within 1-8hrs before the start of the shift, due to short
term sickness or additional activity which could be met by the internal
Trust Temporary staffing department.
3. Total Number of permanent jobs filled/resourced through recruitment
agencies
