Please provide the total number of
1) qualified social workers currently supplied through recruitment
agencies, analysed by Children’s services and by Adult Services.
2) Local Authority owned residential units, day care centres, and
supported living settings, their locations also analysed by
Children’s services and Adult Services currently using agency
care/support workers?
3) Advise which of 2 above are expected to be closed in 2012?
3) Provide an organogram showing the Social Services Departments
within the Council

Please confirm are you asking for the numbers of qualified social workers
who are temps employed via recruitment agencies

Please clarify, are you asking for information just for those
residential units, day care centres and supported living settings where we
currently have agency staff?
Or are you asking a) what in house units we have and separately
b) whether there are agency staff at them.

information from you.

Adults - 4
Children's - 3 full time, 4 part time
2. Provide information on the number of in-house residential units, day
care centres and supported living settings currently using agency care /
support workers, their locations, also analysed by Children’s and Adult
Services
Adults - 2 residential units using agency staff, Heathlands & Ladybank.
Children's - None. However, please contact me if your question relates to
Children's centres.
3. Advise which of question 2 are expected to be closed in 2012?
Adults - Council Executive are meeting w/c 20th Feb to decide the future
of Ladybank.
Children's - Not applicable
4. Provide an organogram showing the Social Services Departments within
the Council
