Freedom of Information Act 2000 – Request for Information

 

Thank you for your request for information regarding Social Care Services
please find Rotherham MBC response below;

 

Can you please:

    

1. Provide the number of qualified social workers supplied through
recruitment agencies, analysed by Children and Adult services

 

Children’s Services currently have 11 qualified social workers supplied by
recruitment agencies.

Adult Services have 3 qualified social workers supplied by recruitment
agencies.

    

 2. Provide information on the number of in-house residential units, day
care centres and supported living settings currently using agency care /
support workers, their locations, also analysed by Children’s and Adult
Services

 

Children’s Services have three mainstream residential units and 2
disability units who use agency staff when we have additional need or have
staff vacancies.

Adults Services do not utilise any agency staff in any of the scenarios
described above.

    

 3. Advise which of question 2 are expected to be closed in 2012?

 

None of the Children’s units are due to close.

Adults Services do not utilise any agency staff in any of the scenarios
described therefore this is not applicable.    

 

 4. Provide an organogram showing the Social Services Departments within
the Council

In accordance with the procedures of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough
Council (RMBC), I am advising you that the cost to the authority in
responding to this request has been £116.73 which reflects the staff time
and administration costs involved. RMBC however does not currently make
any charge to customers for processing Freedom of Information Act
requests.

 

If you are not satisfied with this response you have the right to an
