1. Provide the number of qualified social workers supplied through
recruitment agencies, analysed by Children and Adult services
2. Provide information on the number of in-house residential units,
day care centres and supported living settings currently using
agency care / support workers, their locations, also analysed by
Children’s and Adult Services
3. Advise which of question 2 are expected to be closed in 2012?
4. Provide an organogram showing the Social Services Departments
within the Council

Dear Movya Makambwe,
Thank you for your recent request for information which we have responded
to below.
1. Provide the number of qualified social workers supplied through
recruitment agencies, analysed by Children and Adult services
Childrens:
3 Team Managers
5 Deputy Team Managers
13 Senior Practitioners
25 Social Workers
Adults:
There were 6 Agency Social Workers in ASC directorate at the last quarter.
2. Provide information on the number of in-house residential units, day
care centres and supported living settings currently using agency care
/ support workers, their locations, also analysed by Children’s and Adult
Services
Childrens:
We have one in house residential short breaks service, for children with
disabilities, based at 92 Leyton Green Road. We do use agency centre
worker staff to cover sickness and if we require extra support workers due
to specific needs of a child on placement, if no other staff available.
When we a vacancies we can recruit to we do.
Adults:

Information not held. No currently plans or consultations being held
regaring these services.
4. Provide an organogram showing the Social Services Departments
within the Council
