Response:
All agency staff used by the Trust are on the National OGC Framework
Agreements.
The preferred supplier for Medical Locums is Medacs.
The preferred suppliers for Nursing staff are:
Care @ Northwest
Key Care and Support
Kareplus
For the other categories requested there are no preferred suppliers and
suppliers are selected from the Framework Agreements as required.
Attached is a spreadsheet detailing the Nursing and Medical spend. All
other staff groups are summarised under other. To breakdown the
information into the categories as requested would require a manual
exercise which would take over the 2.5 day limit. The appropriate limit
is specified in regulations and is set at £450 for a NHS Foundation
Trust. The appropriate limit represents the estimated cost of one person
spending two and a half days in determining whether the Trust holds the
information, locating, retrieving and extracting the information.
Consequently, the Trust is not obliged by the Freedom of Information Act
2000 to respond to your request (see section 12(1)).
Kind regards,
Freedom of Information Group
