Agency costs for pupil referal units/short stay schools

Thank you for your request for information received on 13/10/2011.  In
that request, you asked for the following information:

 

I am interested in the amounts paid by every Pupil Referral Unit/Short
stay schools in Wolverhampton to third parties in relation to temporary
agency staffing cover. My hope is to receive an electronic breakdown of
amounts paid through the department's purchase ledger by school.

 

The information I require for each school is:

School Name/referral Unit Name;

Supplier name and total amount paid

 

I would like the information to cover the year 2010/11.

 

I am pleased to provide the following information.

 

The amount paid to third parties for in relation to temporary agency
staffing cover by Wolverhampton Pupil Referral Units for 2010-11 is
provided, as requested, in the attached Excel spreadsheet 'PRU Agency
Supply Staff Expenditure 2010-11'.

 

The local authority does not hold the information about exactly which
agencies were used.  This information is held by the Pupil Referral Units
(PRUs) and you will need to contact individual PRUs to request this
information.
