Dear Requester
Please find attached letter and details of our complaints procedure.
We note that a request for an internal review has been received in this
office a few hours ago, on the basis that a response has not been
received by you within the statutory 20 days.
In our letter to you dated 28th September 2011, we stated that we
calculated that to comply with the 20 working days' limit we had to
reply to you by today, and you did not dispute that calculation. We
believe the calculation to be correct, and accordingly the attached
response is within the 20 day period.
In the light of this response, will you kindly confirm if your
calculation is different and you wish to proceed with an internal review
of the handling of this request.
Yours faithfully

Dear '''''officer'''''',
I am writing to request an internal review of Lincolnshire Police's
handling of my FOI request 'AFO Firearms'.
A List of Firearms used by UK Police services is available
publically on websites such as wikipedia, I just want to know
exactly WHICH of these firearms the Lincolnshire police are
equipped with.
You claim that you disclosing this information may aide terrorists
or those in 'organised crime' may be able to use this information
to better yourselves, I'd love to point out to you that
A 9mm round is a 9mm round, whether fired from a Walther pistol or
from a canon specifically designed for a garden gnome to fire at
passing by apples falling from Venus.
I trust you will come to your senses while carrying out this review
and provide me with the information I have requested, as many other
police SERVICEs have done on WhatDoTheyKnow.
Yours sincerely without ill-will, vexation or frivolity and without
prejudice,
j g james

Good Afternoon,
I am contacting you in relation to your Freedom of Information request
(Request number F-2011-01082) which is now having an internal review in to
the initial decision, it was my hope that this review would be completed
by the end of the week. I no longer believe this to be feasible, so
consequently the internal review in to your request will be completed the
week commencing 28/11/2011 and a decision will be communicated to you
during this week.
If you have any queries do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards
Luke
