Dear Home Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of
Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's
handling of my FOI request 'Advice On Police Training For Middle
East Countries'.
I feel I must ask for an internal appeal on my request as it has
not been answered, and the response given was not in connection to
the question asked. My question was not about the IPAB itself, but
about what advice the body had given the Home Office. It was
reported in the media that the IPAB had advised the Home Office
over the last three years.
Your response saying contact the IPAB therefore is illogical, as
the request is what advice has been given to the Home Office by
this body, the answer would therefore be yes it has advised the
Home Office as reported in the Media, or no it has not advised the
Home Office despite the reporting otherwise. It would therefore not
make sense to say you do not have the data and then tell me that I
should ask the people who advise you. If they have not advised the
Home Office then they also would not have any data.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is
available on the Internet at this address:

Yours faithfully,
Ross Pollard
