Dear M Sowerby,

Thank you for your information request of 25 June 2010, made under the
Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA). Aberdeen City
Council (ACC) has completed the necessary search for the information
requested.

Could you please tell me how many staff employed in Adult Social Care
have previously been employed by a large care provider such as Southern
Cross Healthcare.

This information is not held by ACC in an easily accessible format to
allow extraction of the information to satisfy your request.

We are unable to provide you with information on previous employment of
social work staff as it is not held by the Council. In order to comply
with its obligations under the terms of section 17 of the FOISA, the
Council must issue an official notice in relation to any requests for
information not held by it. I therefore attach an Information Not Held
notice.

Apologies we cannot help you further with your request.

Yours sincerely,

Jean Reid
