Dear Mr/Ms Sowerby
Thank you for your Freedom of Information request, detailed below.
Unfortunately I am unable to answer your question. This is because
disclosure of the information that you have requested could enable the
identification of individual members of Newcastle City Council staff. We
have to take account of the fact that a disclosure under the FOI Act is a
disclosure to the world at large. We consider that any individuals
concerned would not expect this level of detail about them to be disclosed
in response to requests for information, and we believe that it would
therefore be unfair processing for us to release this information to you.
This would breach the first data protection principle, and the information
is therefore exempt from disclosure under section 40(2) of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Baillie, Rachel,
Thank you for your prompt reply. Given what you say regarding data
protection am I correct in thinking that it would also be unlikely
for a Customer Services Manager to breach this data? Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
m sowerby
