Linda,
Can you please clarify the question;
How many held cases are there in adult care?
I have visited the whatdotheyknow.com website and have seen your response
to Sefton Council's query of the same nature. However can you give us
further details of what is required for "held cases"? Is the question
referring to cases which have yet to complete the assessment? If this is
the case then they will all have an active social worker. If you can
provide a bit more detail we will be happy to furnish you with an
appropriate response.
We are currently putting together a response for the request and will
provide this to you, once we are able to answer this question accurately.
Regards
Ian

Dear FOI Childrens Families & Adults,
By held cases I mean cases that aren't actively being worked on but
cannot be completely closed so have no allocated social worker and
no work being done on them.
Yours sincerely,
Linda Burnip

Linda,
Thank you for your response to our query regarding `held' cases. However,
after liaising with staff within our Adult Social Care, the response still
hasn't clarified our question. All the cases we have fall under the
allocated or unallocated category. The term `held' is not applicable in
our adult care. We have the information regarding unallocated/allocated
cases and the answers to all your other questions ready to send out if you
would like to withdraw the question. If not, we need further explanation
of what is meant by `held' cases.
Regards
Ian
