Dear General Social Care Council,
I write in relation to Head of Service for Adults with Learning
disabilities of Shropshire Council.
Mr Adrian Johnson's responsibilities are to assess needs and
provide support for adults with learning difficulties. As part of
his role he writes statements for the court to support applications
to remove disabled adults from their carers and place them in local
Authority institutions against their will.
I have checked the GSCC register for Adrian Johnson's registration
number however it appears that he is not a registered social
worker. Adrian Johnson claims to have held the above position since
September 2000.
Please could you give information relating to Adrian Johnson's
qualification to carry out social work tasks.
1. Has Adrian Johnson ever qualified as a Social Worker?
2. Has Adrian Johnson ever been registered as a student Social
Worker?
3. Has Adrian Johnson ever been disqualified by the GSCC?
4. Has Adrian Johnson ever applied to register as a Social Worker?
5. Has Adrian Johnson ever been disciplined for a sexual offence?
