Dear Ms. Moore,
I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request of 24 June
2010.
Please note that West Sussex County Council does not use or recognise the
term "forced adoption" and we find it unhelpfully perjorative. The
children in question are children placed with adoptive parents under the
provisions of a placement order and legally adopted by a court making an
adoption order according to due process.
