Adoption Figures
Please can you supply me with adoption figures with breakdown for
each of the following years 2007 to 2011 inclusive to date (April
2011)
a) Council Targets
b) Actual Adoptions (without parent consent)
c) Actual Adoptions (with parental consent)
d) Actual Adoptions (Other – i.e. death of parents)
e) Number of adoptions where children go to outside foster homes /
foster parents
f) Number of adoptions where children go to non-resident parent and
/or extended families (i.e. grandparents, aunts uncles).
g) Number of adoptions where non-resident parents or extended
families have been advised, contacted or interviewed with the
intention of children residing within them before the intention of
placing children to outside adoption; ; please provide breakdown of
successful / unsuccessful interviews
h) Number of adoptions where non-resident parents or extended
families have NOT been advised, contacted or interviewed with the
intention of children residing within them or outside adoption.
i) Total number of adoptions (any reason)
