Dear Joseph,

I have spoken to the head of Undergraduate Admissions just now. While your request is now overdue, Undergraduate Admissions is extremely busy this week processing offers. They are aware of your request and will attempt to get the information you have requested as soon as possible, but it is likely to be towards the end of the week/early next week rather than today. I apologise for any inconvenience this causes you. Unfortunately your request arrived at the time as several other requests relating to admissions at a time which coincided with their busiest period.

Regards,
Rachael

Dear Joseph,

With reference to your request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act, please find attached the information you requested. I
apologise for the late response and hope this hasn't inconvenienced you.

The attached spreadsheet includes total numbers of Home applicants,
offer-holders, acceptances and registrations. Worksheet 1 includes a
breakdown by HUK and HEU, worksheet 2 is a total of these cohorts i.e. the
total of HUK and HEU. Worksheet 3 includes numbers by UK region.

<<Joseph Andrerson_regions.xls>>

However, we do not collate data on each region within England. To work out
this information from current records would breach the fee limit. Also, it
is difficult to report on school type because not all applicants declare
it. We do not have a supplementary application form like Oxford or
Cambridge Universities so we have no further data to make a complete set.
We do not have the data to collate a correct overall total for HUK
applicants. However, we have included the table below which gives some
indication of School type.
