Dear Powys Teaching Local Health Board,
In a BBC Survey published Monday 22 August 2011 on Alcohol & Drug
admissions to A&E depts by young children in Wales it states that
figures for Powys are not available as there are no A&E facilities
in Powys.
Can you provide figures for admissions by children aged 12 to 17
and 11 and under to Minor Injury Units over the years 2006 to 2010
covered by the survey?

We acknowledge receipt of your request for further information; however can we please clarify what it is you mean by your request as we have attendances at our Minor Injury Units but we do not have admissions - we do not admit children in Powys.
