Dear Sir or Madam,
I understand that the Lord Chancellor is responsible for the Data
Protection Act and the FOI act, and also the ICO.
How does the Lord Chancellor ensure that these acts are enacted
impartially & fairly within other departments who are within his
control? Should their be allegations that some of his departments
are neither meeting the requirements or spirit of the acts and such
departments are not being properly disciplined,by the ICO, how
would such allegations be dealt with dealt with impartially &
fairly?
Yours faithfully,
Edwin Morris

Dear Goburdhun, Kavita,
Thankyou for your response, you seem to have misconstrued the
question and referred to the ICO directly.
Can you answer the specific questions please.
Further with respect to the ICO you seem to be suggesting that it
does not have any audit or compliance procedure and neither does
the MOJ, is that the case?
Yours sincerely,
Edwin Morris

Dear Goburdhun, Kavita,
Thankyou for your e mail.
However it has not replied
to the specific questions and is disengenous, as so
many of the replies from the MOJ are, (as seen on this website).
It does however sing the praises
of the MOJ, as this Government is so keen
to do so for all of its departments.
Will you please conduct an internal review as requested.

Dear Paul,
Attached is your reply, annotated with my comments.
In order for me to deal with your request, I need to ask you for
some further information.
I feel that my original request was clear and that this is
obfuscation.
As you are aware the MoJ has been in correspondence with you
numerous times and you have made numerous different requests to us.
Of course I am aware of all the "requests" this is a put down. I
have not made numerous requests.
Therefore it is not currently clear as to the exact information in
which you are interested and because of this we are unable to deal
with your request at this time.
It is perfectly clear please supply the information as requested.
In order for us to deal with you request under FOIA please can you
describe the information you would like to request as outlined in
section 8 of the FOIA.
Please supply the info and stop obfuscating.
Please carry out an internal review.
