Firstly, I must apologise for the extreme delay in responding to you.
This has been due to a lapse in monitoring on my part and for this I
personally apologise to you.
Enquiries were made with the Empty Homes team and they have supplied the
following information:
The council does not have a list of researched and confirmed empty
properties which are owned by private individuals or companies to give
out.
We do however work with owners of empty properties to find ways to bring
their properties back into use. We offer an information pack that contains
a list of private individuals and developers looking to buy empty
properties in Southwark. This is given out and it is down to the owner to
decide if where they wish sell or work with a developer on this list.
If you would like to be included on this list please forward contact
details that you do not mind being published on the leaflet. Your details
will then be included on the leaflet. You should also check the empty
homes agency website at [3]http://www.emptyhomes.com and
[4]www.reportemptyhomes.com where there maybe information on empty
properties you might be interested in.
If you buy an empty property in Southwark, there maybe grants and loans
available to help bring the property back into habitable use. Please
contact 0207 525 4082 for more information.
You are free to use the information provided for your own purposes,
including any non-commercial research you are doing and for the purposes
of news reporting. Any other re-use, for example commercial publication,
requires the permission of the copyright holder. You may apply for
permission to re-use this information by submitting a request to
