Dear Mr. Nash
I am very sorry that your request has not been dealt with within the 20
working day timeframe. Unfortunately we have had a lot of changes
taking place within the Council recently and this has meant an increased
work load for each Service.
I am forwarding this on to the Department dealing with this and wish to
apologise once again for the delay.
Kind regards

Dear Mr Nash,
Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your request for
information.
I have attached a spreadsheet detailing the addresses of empty
Non-Domestic properties. However, you did not give a definition of
"long-term" so I have included all empty properties. If you require
further information relating to the date on which they became empty please
let me know.
With regard to the request for details of owners of empty properties, I
believe that this information is exempt under Section 21 of the Freedom of
Information Act as it is information which can be obtained from Land
Registry. Notwithstanding this I must advise you that the Council does
not always have details of owners as a great number of Non-Domestic
properties are leased long term and the leaseholder would remain liable
for Rates whilst a property remains empty.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of any further
assistance.
Yours sincerely,
Helen White IRRV
