Dear Sir or Madam,
I find your reply somewhat puzzling as I was employed at the Blood
Products Laboratory Dagger Lane Elstree for quite a while, where
not only blood products were manufactured for eventual overseas
sale, but testing was carried out on live animals.
I'm certain that this is not a figment of my imagination, and maybe
a further response from yourself would be in order ?
Yours faithfully,
William Morrison-Bates

And today Children..we're going to look through the square window !!!

William,
Great questions and I hope you keep asking questions and taking it further. I was listening to a radio show last week and it mentioned that blood in England and Wales that is collected from blood transfusion vans is resold to the NHS. I have since had this confirmed, in Scotland it is sold to private patients.
The answers you have received are baffling.
Good luck
