ACPO ANPR strategy for policy up until 2010.
Marie Koenigsberger made this Freedom of Information request to The Association of Chief Police Officers of England, Wales and Northern Ireland
The request was successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Please supply the ACPO ANPR strategy document which sets out ANPR
policy up until 2010.
A Guardian newspaper report 15/8/08 'Fears over privacy as police
expand surveillance project'* said that this document had been
obtained under the Freedom of Information Act but the strategy does
not appear to be on the ACPO website.
The Guardian article says:
'The document, which sets policy up until 2010, states that police
forces should "fully and strategically exploit" the database.'
Yours faithfully,
Marie Koenigsberger
