ACP 16 - Field Craft
Guy Crook made this Freedom of Information request to Air Cadet Organisation
The request was refused by Air Cadet Organisation.

Dear Air Cadet Organisation,
Could you provide a hard copy of ACP 16, the fieldcraft manual. Due
to no internet connection to Bader we are unable to train cadets
from a fieldcraft manual to a satisfactory level. The cadets at my
squadron are keen and interested in learning about fieldcraft but
currently are unable to and could result in many leaving. We would
be very gratful if you could send a copy of ACP 16 to:
7 Eynsham Court

Yours faithfully,

Well usually i would do that. However we are currently under staffed as well as having just moved into a new building, so its rather low on their list of priorities. Also the point of the request isn't just to borrow a copy of another squadron or our wing. But to have our own hard copy.

Guy,
Sorry, but for the time it took you to post the request on here, you could have downloaded and printed the ACP from BADER, that all staff have access to.
The ACP is only 29 pages, so could easily be printed at home or work. I wasn't suggesting you borrowed anyones copy, as all ACPs have been readily available digitally on BADER for some time now. If you need help finding the ACP on BADER, then just let me know, happy to help you with that.
This FOI would be rejected anyway, as the information you are requesting is already available to ATC volunteers.
Martin

Surely a member of staff can download and print the ACP at home or work, then bring it to the Sqn? Or a neighbouring Sqn could help you out, or even your WHQ for that matter?
Asking via a FOI request is not appropriate in this instance.

Martin
