1) How many Accumulated Campaign Service Medals have been issued to
former UDR soldiers and officers to date?
2) How many applications (either via the regiment or personally by
the soldier or officer) for the Accumulated Campaign Service Medal
have been refused?
3) What are the main reasons for refusal?

Good morning Mr Bamford

We are in receipt of your email of 18 September asking for a response to
your FOI request dated 19 Aug 08 about the number of ACSM issued,
applications refused and reason for refusal. I should be grateful if you
would confirm that you have received our response dated 16 September which
was emailed to you on 17 September.

I would also be grateful if you would confirm that you have also received
our response to your FOI request concerning the number of UDR medals
issued and applications refused. Our letter dated 16 September was emails
to request-1851-ca828a19@whatdothey know.com on 17 September.

We are also in receipt of your reply to our letter to you dated 16
September concerning your request for a list of all Awards, Honours &
Decorations presented to serving members of the UDR and will be responding
to you on this matter shortly.
